SAN DIEGO (Feb 6, 2014) - A standing-room crowd estimated at 350 watched and cheered today as 121 high school athletes signed their National Letters of Intent at the San Diego Hall of Champions.

Athletes in 12 different sports, ranking from archery to water polo, used the sports museum to take the opportunity to announce their college choice, sign and then sent the paperwork, assuring themselves a scholarship.

While football was the forefront of the event covered the most of the local media, with San Diego State landing three prized recruits in Brawley’s Donavin Buck, Patrick Henry’s Jabril Clewis and Mount Miguel’s Davaughn Murray. USD signed two players, Steele Canyon’s Chandler Rogers and Carlsbad’s Chase Austin.
