Inducted in 1993. Haven Moses was the first San Diego State player named to major All-America teams, a first team choice of The Sporting News and Time magazine in 1967.
The Aztecs’ offensive captain and MVP caught 55 passes for 968 yards that year.
In two seasons as the prototype “pro-set” receiver for then Aztecs coach Don Coryell, Moses caught 117 passes for 2,169 yards and 17 touchdowns.
A first round NFL draft choice in 1968, he played four seasons for the Buffalo Bills and 10 for the Denver Broncos, going to the Super Bowl in 1978. He caught 448 passes for 8,091 yards and 56 touchdowns as a pro before retiring in 1981 to pursue a business career.
