San Diego State baseball coach and baseball Hall-of-Famer Tony Gwynn, always one of the most interesting Sports at Lunch speakers to appear at the Hall of Champions, will speak on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008 at the HOC in Balboa Park.
Gwynn will appear to discuss the 2008 baseball season for the Aztecs, which begins Feb. 22 at Tony Gwynn Stadium at the University of San Diego. The Aztecs play nine of their first 10 games in San Diego. SDSU and USD will split four games between their two parks, SDSU will travel to USC on Feb. 26 and will play home games against Cal Poly, Feb. 28; Missouri, Feb. 29; Cal, March 1; and Fresno State, March 2.
WHEN: Tuesday, Jan. 8 from 11:30 to about 1 p.m., with a question-and-answer period. Check-in for lunch begins at 11:15 a.m.
