The newest addition at the Museum is a state-of-the-art sailing exhibit which showcases a fully rigged, previously raced Star class boat. Many of the exhibits boast video and touch screen interactivity that allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the sport and learn about its rich history and tradition in San Diego. Located on the lower level of the museum, guests will enjoy sailboat models, art, history and other pertinent information about the oldest international sporting trophy in continuous competition – the America’s Cup.
